Interplay of pancake vortices and columnar defects in heavy-ion irradiated Bi-2212
Résumé
An analysis of equilibrium magnetization curves of Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+d with different doses of columnar tracks reveals the distribution of pancake vortices on columnar pinning sites. In addition, core pinning is found to be the prevailing interaction mechanism between pancake vortices and columnar defects. © 2000 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
