  The Open Access does not exclude publishing in a journal. Copyright and contracts signed with publishers must be respected.

Creative Commons licences

Creative Commons licences have an important role in the spreading and sharing of scientific knowledge.

It is possible to submit to HAL and publish under a Creative Commons licence at the same time, after have chosen the combination of options and have asked the co-authors for permission. For further information, please see the section Legal aspects, from the HAL documentation.
